collaboration' for a vast array of tasks. Google
docs provides a way of collaborating online
using a FREE set of tools. Learn how to create,
upload and share spreadsheets, Word Documents,
Presentations and Forms and lots more. This
powerful tool is easy to learn and use and
provides the most amazing opportunities for
real-time collaboration for personal and
professional use.

Website design, once a complex and expensive
task is no longer so. Learn how to create your
own FREE collaborative websites, for any
purpose, with Google Sites and Wikis. It's fun
and easy to do. You can use it for professional
or personal reasons; design one to market your
business or create a family site to share your
travels and adventures with the world or a
limited audience if you prefer. We will explore
two providers; Google Sites and Wikispaces.com,
both offer free sites and hosting and it's easy
to learn and use.

'Backing up our data' can often be an arduous
task for us all using discs or external hard
drives. Dropbox provides online 'cloud-based'
storage for your files and makes moving between
computers less problematic as you can access
your data at anytime on any machine. Learn how
to use this tool to store your files and share
them with others when you want to.

Being able to navigate ASB's digital toolkit is critical in order to remain informed and connected with both your child's activities and school progress as well as the social side to our wonderful community. ASB uses a variety of online tools to manage information and communicate with the community and it's important to learn how to use them to make the most of the extensive opportunities they offer. Learn how to access your child's grades and activities, their class web pages, order their lunch and connect with other members of the school community to share information about living in Mumbai and event information at ASB.

get the most out of the course. Our technology courses
have no academic pre-requisites. However if you are
unsure of your technology skill level and the course
most appropriate for you, then please do not hesitate to

The structure and course expectations are made clear in the beginning. Using both text and video, learners are shown how to get started, how to access course activities, and the netiquette expectations for online discussions and other communications.
