My objective for taking this course was to create my own blog and the course met my objectives and more. It allowed me to understand a lot of blogging features, blogging etiquette and most importantly produce my own blog, so it was an extremely exceptional course.

Blogs are a powerful way to share both professionally and personally. Many blogs focus on a particular theme or topic, they are easy and free to create and can be used for a variety of purposes. In this course, we will explore two different blog providers, learn how to create your very own blog, add content and media and learn the tools you can use to share it with the world.

10 hours over the course of 2 weeks

Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the concept of blogging and the types available
  • Create and manage a blog account
  • Select and create a template based on a variety of options
  • Write and maintain a blog using a variety of rich media options
  • Share blog links on a variety of social media platforms
  • Identify tools that can be used to track site visitors
